Market Tracker ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the App collects, uses and safeguards your data.
Your watchlist, portfolio positions, trade history, alerts and preferences are stored locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted unless you enable Cloud Backup (see below).
When you enable the Cloud Backup feature in Settings, your portfolio data (watchlists, positions, alerts, closed trade history and preferences) is transmitted and stored on our secure cloud servers. This data is associated with a randomly generated device identifier — not your name, email or any personal information. Cloud Backup is disabled by default and only activates when you explicitly enable it. You may disable it at any time and no further data will be transmitted. You can delete your backup data anytime by clicking on "Delete cloud backup".
When you enable notifications, the App registers your device with a push notification service to deliver price alerts. A device token and a randomly generated device identifier are stored on our servers to route notifications. No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected. You may disable notifications at any time in Settings, which stops all push notifications and marks your device as inactive on our servers.
When you create price alerts, the alert conditions (symbol, target price, threshold) are synced to our servers so they can be checked periodically even when the App is closed. Alert data is associated with your device identifier only.
The App retrieves market data from third-party financial data providers and public government databases. This includes stock and cryptocurrency prices, financial filings, insider transactions, currency exchange rates, treasury yields and market sentiment indices.
The App does not collect, store or process any personally identifiable information. There are no user accounts, no email collection, no advertising SDKs and no third-party advertising scripts. The only local identifier used is a randomly generated device ID stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. The App uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous usage data. Data collected is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). By using the App you consent to this data collection. If you wish to opt out, you may disable analytics tracking in your device settings.
The App does not sell, share, rent or transmit your data to any third party for marketing, analytics or any other purpose. Data sent to our servers (alerts, device tokens, backups) is used solely to provide the App's functionality. The export feature (Excel) creates a file on your device which you control entirely.
Local data is retained on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Server-side data (alerts, device registration, backups) is retained as long as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of all server-side data associated with your device by contacting us at the address below.
The App processes publicly available financial news headlines through proprietary algorithms to generate sentiment scores. No user-specific data is used in this process. The algorithmic methodology, scoring logic and underlying source code are confidential intellectual property of JorgeGF and may not be reverse-engineered, copied or reproduced.
The App is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading, installing or using Market Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
The App provides financial market data for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptocurrency or other financial instrument. You should always consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor before making any investment decision. The developers of the App are not registered financial advisors, brokers or dealers.
Market data is sourced from third-party financial data providers and public government databases. Prices may be delayed by 15 minutes or more. Index data is approximated using ETF proxies and may not match official index values. Financial data from regulatory filings may be incomplete or delayed. The App makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability or timeliness of any data displayed.
All content, features, algorithms, scoring methodologies, sentiment analysis systems and source code within the App are the exclusive intellectual property of JorgeGF and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The sentiment scoring system uses proprietary algorithms — reverse engineering, decompiling or attempting to extract the underlying logic is strictly prohibited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works based on any part of the App without prior written consent.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP AND ITS DEVELOPERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Portfolio tracking features are for personal record-keeping only and do not constitute verified financial records, tax documents or brokerage statements. Profit and loss calculations are estimates based on available data and may not reflect your actual financial position. You are solely responsible for maintaining accurate records of your investments.
Price alerts are provided as a convenience feature. Alerts are checked approximately every 15 minutes and may be delayed, missed or not delivered due to network conditions, server availability, device settings, operating system restrictions or other factors beyond our control. Do not rely on the App's alerts for time-critical trading decisions. The App is not responsible for any losses resulting from missed, delayed or inaccurate alerts.
The Fear & Greed Index reflects cryptocurrency market sentiment and is sourced from a third-party provider (alternative.me). Insider transaction data is sourced from public regulatory filings. These indicators are informational only and should not be used as the sole basis for any investment decision.
The App depends on third-party APIs and services that may change, become unavailable, impose rate limits, modify their terms or discontinue at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, continued availability of any feature or compatibility with future operating system updates. Features may be modified or removed at any time.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the App's developers and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these terms or your reliance on data displayed in the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected in the App with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you must stop using the App.
